WORKERS have finished laying the pipes to connect Redland City to the South East Queensland water grid.
A project update on Thursday said 100 per cent of the pipes had been laid but some reinstatement and other work was continuing.
The 8.4km pipeline will link the Heinemann Road reservoir at Mount Cotton to the Kimberley Park Reservoir in Logan City.
Its official completion deadline is December 31.
