REDLANDS Vietnam Veterans Group (RVVG) members planning to attend Vietnam Veterans' Day commemorations on Monday, August 18, are encouraged to register their interest with Redlands RSL.

A free veterans bus has been organised through the RSL for a return trip to the Brisbane City march.

Bookings are essential. The bus will leave Cleveland at 9.30am; phone 3821 3999.

For those not able to go into the city, the Veterans' Community Centre will be open from 2.30pm until 4.40pm when veterans and guests will gather at the Cleveland Cenotaph for the annual service at 5pm.

Anyone wanting to lay a wreath should call into the centre and leave your name.

The RVVG membership extends a warm welcome to all relatives of the honour roll to join the service of remembrance.

The RVVG meets weekly each Wednesday (from noon) in the Veterans Community Centre on the corner of Passage and Middle streets, Cleveland.
